Our state-of-the-art, fully-integrated
packaging lines meet the very exacting quality
and hygiene standards for the company’s products
at every point of the supply chain – from the
materials warehouse all the way till the
finished products reach the end consumer.
Julphar’s supply chain is geared to efficiently
supply the company’s diverse products across
markets. Separate warehouses are available for
different product categories – finished
products, raw materials, packaging materials,
bottles, etc. All the warehouses are
temperature- and humidity-controlled, and fully
GMP-compliant.
Our transport division – MENACOOL – and our
shipping division, important parts of our supply
chain, worked to their full efficiency to ensure
Julphar’s products retained their high quality
even in the face of adverse weather conditions
while reaching its consumers on time.
The department is positioning itself to be able
to meet the projected demands of the coming five
years, in terms of new equipment, capacities,
staffing and technical expertise
During the year, a new state-of-the-art
blistering machine was added in Julphar-IV to
increase the capacity of Julmentin tablets.
There were additions in Julphar-VI too. The
filling area was equipped with a new capping
machine to run with both plastic PP caps and
aluminum PP caps. The new equipment was sourced
from Bausch-Stroebel, Germany.
Order has also been placed for new powder
filling lines to increase our PPS capacity.
The ointments, cream & suppositories plant –
Julphar-X – has started running in full swing
from December 2011.
As part of new plans to meet the projected
demand for the next five years, orders have been
placed for a new blistering machine with
Ulhmann, Germany, and two full lines with CAM,
Italy. New technical manpower is also being
recruited to meet future staffing needs.
Julphar’s in-house engineering, projects
management and preventive maintenance
capabilities continued to be used to bring in
qualitative improvements, higher efficiencies
and reduced downtimes in our packaging
operations.
