Julphar is a public shareholding company based in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. It was established in the year 1980 under the able guidance of H H Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. It is not only the first pharmaceutical manufacturing company set-up in Arab Gulf States, but also continues to be a leading pharmaceutical
producer in the region.


Julphar today has nine world-class, state-of-the-art production facilities located in UAE. Its products are marketed on five continents across the world. The company’s products come in various dosage forms and target a number of major therapeutic segments, including:

Julphar’s production facilities adhere to the highest standards of manufacturing practices. Our commitment to quality and a continuous endeavor to surpass our own high standards has led us to procure the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.The accreditation of our injection plant by FDA, and the EU-GMP and GLP certifications for all our facilities are a further testimony to our commitment to high quality. These practices and approvals ensure that an effective and well-documented framework is always in place and is strictly followed not only for manufacturing of high quality products, but also for the effective use of resources and reduction of wastes.

In addition to the above, several other support units such as printing & packaging unit, plastic dosing cap and aluminum pilfer-proof cap manufacturing plant, transportation fleet (MENA COOL), carpentry workshop, construction division, design division, etc., form part of the Team Julphar.
