Julphar invited to attend the 2nd International Burns, Wounds and Ulcers Conference in China

Julphar was invited to attend the 2nd International Burns, Wounds and Ulcers Conference, which took place from May 28th to June 1st 2016 in Yan’an, China with the attendance of nearly 800 top surgeons and physicians from local and overseas markets.

The Conference kicked-off with the launch of MEBO International’s latest program: “Every Woman Every Child” that targets countries endangered by economic challenges and was publicly endorsed by the United Nations (UN) – strategic partner of MEBO International – during the opening ceremony. As a regional key player supporting the growth of emerging markets, Julphar has been selected by MEBO International to support the expansion of the “Every Woman Every Child” program into those emerging markets – in collaboration with the UN and MEBO International. Furthermore, Prof. Mustafa El Sonbati, Head of plastic surgery at the Assiut University in Egypt – part of Julphar delegation – was nominated as a member of its Board Committee during the official announcement ceremony. 

Over 20 local and international speakers participated in the Conference to discuss the wound healing management area, including representatives of Julphar’s delegation Dr Osman Fathy, Head of the plastic surgery department at the Al Hada Military Hospital in Saudi Arabia and Dr Fawzy Hamza, President of the Egyptian Society of Plastic Surgeons, who shared the MEBO experience with the attending audience, and gave them an overview of the impact of MEBO on patient’s fast wound recovery.
