2017-01-16
As part of its commitment to provide valuable therapeutic options in the protection and treatment of acid related disorders, Julphar organized a scientific lecture in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the management of non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding.

During the meeting, Dr Ahmad Hasshem, Head of the Gastroenterology Department of the Jeddah Saudi German Hospital, updated the audience on the use of intravenous (IV) Pantoprazole in the prophylaxis and treatment of bleeding peptic ulcers, and highlighted the importance to properly manage acid related disorders with high morbidities and mortality rates.

Following the lecture, Julphar presented the role of Pantonix – the smart acid suppressor for the treatment and protection of patients suffering from hyperacidity – in the management of non-variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding. Pantonix offers two convenient methods of administration: infusion and injection, and presents the lowest potential of drug interactions.

Being a market leader in acid control, Julphar strives to provide gastroenterologists with various therapeutic options and medical updates on a regular basis.
