Julphar sales record 15% growth in ’12

Julphar registered sales revenue of Dh1,180.6 million in the year 2012, up 15.3 per cent year-on-year.

Sales during the period were driven by the tender market sales which saw a growth of 22.5 per cent.

The company continued to show robust operational performance during the year. Gross Profit was Dh697.4 million, up 11.1 per cent yoy. Operating Profit for the year, on the other hand, was Dh217.2 million, up 8.6 per cent. Operating profit margin continued to be high at 18.4 per cent. Profit for the year was Dh200.2 million, up 17.6 per cent.
