Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries Julphar picks up third place in the Government Institutions Championship in Ras Al Khaimah.

The first edition of the Government Institutions Football Championship, organized by Ras Al Khaimah University of Medicine and Health Sciences has been concluded, which was held from May 27-31, with the participation of 9 teams across the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi - Head of the Department of Economic Development - and Colonel Abdullah Ahmed bin Salman Al Nuaimi, Director of Media and Public Relations at RAK police, and a number of dignitaries representing government departments in the emirate.

 

The final day of the championship witnessed two matches, the first of which brought together the Courts Department with Julphar Pharmaceuticals to determine the third place, and the Julphar team managed to pick up the third place. Sheikh Mohammed bin Kayed Al Qasimi honored Julphar team, along with other participating teams in the tournament.

 

Dr. Essam Farouk, CEO of Julphar, praised the efforts made to establish the tournament, and the members of the Julphar team in particular, for their positive results during the tournament. Dr. Essam also emphasized the importance of participating in such initiatives and local sports programs that aim to build effective collaboration between all government institutions, departments in the Emirate.
