Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) concluded its distinguished participation at the fifth edition of Make it in the Emirates, held in Abu Dhabi from 4 to 7 May 2026. The company’s presence highlighted its leading role in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector at both the national and regional levels, as it showcased its latest pharmaceutical products and strategic growth priorities through its integrated exhibition stand within a dynamic business environment that brought together leading investors, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs.

Julphar’s pavilion welcomed several high-level official visits, reflecting the UAE leadership’s continued support for advancing the medical and pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. On the opening day, the stand was visited by H.E. Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, and H.E. Dr. Fatima Al Kaabi, Director-General of the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE). On the third day of the exhibition, the pavilion was honoured by the visit of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, accompanied by H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology. During the visits, Their Highnesses and Excellencies were briefed on Julphar’s latest innovative pharmaceutical solutions and advanced technologies driven by Emirati talent, commending the company’s pivotal role in strengthening pharmaceutical security and advancing the UAE’s national pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities.

Throughout the exhibition, Julphar highlighted its strategic investments in pharmaceutical research and development, as well as its initiatives to enhance local manufacturing capabilities for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), reinforcing the UAE’s position as a global hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing and innovation. The participation aligns with the national industrial strategy led by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) to develop high-value manufacturing sectors in support of the objectives of the UAE Vision 2031.

As the exhibition concluded, Julphar reaffirmed its pride in the strong confidence placed in the UAE’s national pharmaceutical industry and renewed its commitment to continuing its journey with a national vision and global ambition to shape a more sustainable healthcare future under the umbrella of Make it in the Emirates, contributing to strengthening the UAE’s position as a leading global destination for sustainable pharmaceutical manufacturing.
